Exploring, experimenting and researching sound effects to bring a series of still photographs to life before creating a piece for a Gregory Crewdson Photograph.
Sitting in a car on a long journey I decided to take some interesting photos. I then noted down all the sounds I could hear because no one was talking. Instead of hearing silence I could hear all the background sounds. Background sounds are sounds that run continuously in the background where we hear unconsciously.
Few things I heard in the car...
1. Rain patting against the window and on the motorway
2. Cars driving past on the motorway
3. Vans/Lorries driving past on the motorway
4. Wiper Blades on the windscreen
5. Someone changing the radio
Some of the sounds in my piece I had recorded on the journey, some of the sounds I downloaded off the internet.
