'The Carer' - It's a Wrap!! but it's not over...

Lat day of filming -

I decided to bring all the people who I was the most closest to some chocolates and biscuits. I wrote each individual a card and some personal memories.

This day I was told how much the production team thought how well I have done and how much effort I put into working with them. I have already been told to keep in contact for future projects and they will keep me in mind. I let them know how much I enjoyed working with them and would dearly miss them but never forget my first experiences on a film set. Some of the producers have already asked me to work for them on their next project in which I intend to do.Although I won't be seeing most of the Hungarians again, I'm sure I will meet and work with the production team again.

At the end of the production, I have truly learnt so much about filming a small budget production as a whole through experience and being thrown into the deep end as an 3rd AD.

Upon reflection, I have noticed that I can communicate well, get jobs done quickly, crowd control, entertain, problem solve, think logically and work independently with a constant need of looking for something to do. I'm glad I will be in contact with the production team again as this is where I want to be in the future. This is the start of my line of contacts and future job opportunities for further developing my skills to studying how producers work and how they overcome a variety of problems during a production.
I have increased my confidence in applying for running jobs to further develop my contacts. I also feel I am capable of working as a runner as I now have some knowledge and experience. Knowing the production team loved working with me and would love to work with me again shows me I am a good worker.
